In Ethiopia, there are over a million children orphaned by HIV/AIDS. Many of these children have to contend with the loss of their parents and the responsibility of caring for younger siblings. That was why P2P identified the orphans issue as one of the areas where it could make contributions.

People to People AID Organization (Canada) is a non-profit charitable organization set up in 1999 by a group of concerned individuals to contribute to the fight against HIV/AIDS.
Since its founding in 1999, People to People Aid Organization (P2P Canada) has pursued two major objectives — working hard to raise awareness about HIV/AIDS in our communities in the Greater Toronto Area and providing support for those affected by the HIV/AIDS pandemic in Ethiopia.
